By deciding to move forward with commissioning karmas.kairo, you have agreed to the following contracts terms and conditions:Payments will be processed through an invoice sent via PayPal, CashApp or Venmo. This payment will include potential fees to offset any that may be incurred from these services.It is expected that the customer will pay half of the commission cost upfront and the remainder once the flat colours of the piece have been finished. Until the full amount is sent, all images of the piece sent to the customer for approval will be heavily watermarked. These watermarks will not obstruct the view of the artwork so much that the customer will not be able to determine approval. Upon completion, karmas.kairo will supply unwatermarked images of the completed work for approval and send the final images to the customer via email to preserve quality.Creating a piece that the customer is happy with is of utmost importance but there are limits to what will be altered at the request of the customer. Karmas.kairo will only make revisions that are within the confines of the existing style and that do not clash with what karmas.kairo is unwilling to do. All revisions requested during sketching are free of charge. One round of free colour edits is offered once flat colours are down. After flat colours are down, changes to anything other than the colours of the piece would be considered extra and incur a $15-30 additional charge depending on the extent of the edits. Extra rounds of changes after the flat colours are approved will also be a $15-30 additional charge depending on the extent of the edits.Karmas.kairo retains all copyright of the produced artwork. Ultimately this means that the customer has permission to share the work publicly and use it on display for private use but any reproduction of the work, especially reproductions that will be used for profit or commercial uses, is strictly prohibited unless approved by the artist in writing. The customer may not use any art from karmas.kairo to train generative AI models or generate AI images in the style of karmas.kairo. Failing to follow this is a crime and may result in legal action, as well as result in the customer being blacklisted from karmas.kairo's commissions.When sharing work publicly, the customer agrees to give karmas.kairo credit though clear and visible labeling, tagging or verbal acknowledgement. If sharing multiple times in one place, one initial credit is sufficient for remaining displays. (For example if the customer posts the artwork on Facebook multiple times, it is only necessary to tag the artist once in the first instance). Remaining tags are appreciated however!Karmas.kairo will likely post the finished piece at some point, though the posted image will include watermarks to protect the art. This includes, but is not limited to, artwork potentially being displayed on artist’s Facebook, Instagram,Twitter, website, studio, brochures, web and print advertisements and business documents if the customer consents to completed work, as well as reference photos, being used for these purposes. Karmas.kairo agrees to place a hold on the sharing of artwork if that is necessary for the plans of the customer (such as birthday gifts, anniversary gifts, usage for an event etc).Karmas.kairo has some basic expected etiquette from the customer. The customer is expected to not message karmas.kairo every day asking for updates. Karmas.kairo will be as transparent as possible as to when he can work and what the timeline for completion will be. The customer is expected to be kind when messaging karmas.kairo, including when requesting revisions. Karmas.kairo will mirror this kindness to the customer. Failure to follow these etiquette rules will result in the customer being blacklisted from commissioning karmas.kairo again.
